Hi, i have brought some wheels to fit on my coupe 20vt. I found it hard to find some that would clear the brembo's without spacers. I brought some wheels the other day and didn't realise how much the offset was, the offset is 14 ( couldn't find it for ages was really small and hidden away). I haven't been able to fit them to my car yet as they have no tyres and not got the bolts to fit yet.
What i was wondering is if they will fit on ok and not knock all my steering out or kill my wheel bearings . I have put them on the hub with 2 normal bolts and they miss the brembos by 2-3 cm's and are just about level with the edge of the front arch. On the rear they seem to be too big, they are just about level with the edge of the slashers and look like they will hit if i have too much weight in. Is it possible to roll the inner edge of the arch so the wheel will go inside, Only need to roll the inside of the arch so you won't be able to see it from the outside.
I know afew of you put bigger spacers on to widen the track, has this made the handling any better.

Any help will be greatly appreciated as i don't know what to do with the wheels.

Thanks in advance Ash

probably sell them on.
ET14 is too much, we run 35-38. So effectively you are at least 3cm out...

shocked
OMG thats a huge amount, Im running 20mm spacers and mine clear the calipers by 2mm !
Who supplied the wheels, I'd take them straight back as thats just not right at all, your handling will be screwed up and they will scuff the rear arch by the sounds of it frown

Just out of morbid curiosity, do you have any pictures ?

Thanks for your reply's, i don't have any pics at the mo. They was an ebay jobbie smile bloke said to me they was et35, and when i saw them it was pi**ing it down and they looked fine. Only noticed they was et14 when i got them home in the dry and took the tyres off.
What a pain, would look really smart on the coupe. So if anyone wants any et14's with pcd 100, let me know.

Thanks Again

Ash
