The DV36 is not particularly loud.

The Volume of most dump valves. Note How loud my Blitz SS is!!

I've never seen that dump valve, ever. Take a chance!

The bailey dump valves never seem to get a good write up, think I've read more problems with them than any other brand of dump valve on this forum.
The Forge units on the other hand seem to be trouble free.

Just wondering if that ebay one is insufficient considering Im running a proven 312bhp......surely it needs to be twin piston? Really guys..what are my options? Decided Im not going Baileys......have emailed forge and turbo revs plus that german bloke on ebay!

I run a forge DV006 - it's a recirc valve so pretty quiet, and a straight swop for the standard valve.

I would also recommend the forge DV006, if your running an induction kit then its still plenty loud enough.
The Turborevs HKS copy dump valve seem to be playing up as there are plenty of posts with people having problems with them, probably why the genuine item is £100+ and the copy is £30 ?

Then buy a genuine HKS SSQV - £130 more than the forge valve - but is flippin loud.

Put forge motorsport into google - they do atmos valves as well.

Right...that sounds good.....and will look at barry boys shortly jim...but gonna forward this email I recieved from forge....an see what u think...here goes...

Hi David
Thaks for thee mail
I cannot recommend that you fit a blow off style twin piston valve to your Fiat , this type of valve will cause engine idle and stalling problems , it will also bring on the check engine light .

The recommended valve for your application is the FM 006 , You can order
on line from this link , Carriage is £ 8.00
http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/content.asp?inc=product&cat=0006&product=FMDV006
This type of valve is a single piston , single spring diverter valve, it is
silent in operation.

I hope this helsp

Regards

Peter

In my day you young whipper snappers would have had a clip round the ear for such cheek. During the war......

David, Im guessing you have the straight induction pipe on yours ? The forge recirc valve certainly isnt quiet on mine with the SIP so I dont think you'd be disappointed.

Just how loud do you want it ?

Hmmm, do you have a front mount intercooler and if you do have you got the induction pipe that sites the filter where the standard side mount intercooler used to live ?

That's crap what he said, hundreds of coupe owners using Atmospheric DV's with no ill effects, certainly no injector light. As long as you are using the twin-piston design, it's all good.

It makes d*ck all difference. If you want a loud Tisch, go for it. If you don't, go Re-circ.
