At the moment? -.5 BHP \:D But will be about 280-290 or so once she's finished. That shouldn't affect your Dump valve choice tho \:P

Like you say, there are plenty of guys running dump to atmos valves on here, some have idle problems some dont. I wouldnt buy a cheap replica dump valve like some that are advertised on the forum, I would go for a genuine quality one.
I had a look at the Forge web site last night, the dump to atmos valves for the mitsi evo look very nice with the built in filter and they are designed for cars running air flow meters so they should be fine \:\)

Think I may be getting somewhere.....what do u all reckon? Pinin is this about right.....this was email sent by blitz today...

Hi David, you would require the universal dump valve, the steel or aluminium
weld on flange, and dependant on what boost you were running the hard or
soft dump valve spring. All this can be viewed at our website here:
http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/Product-182.aspx

Best Regards
Tim.

That's the dump valve I have Liquid. With regard to flange, you need to find out what the standard hose diameter a dump valve like the Baileys and forge use, then you will know which flange. I can't help you there though I'm sorry. My Blitz was from a Nissan I think, and had the correct flange already connected.
Why not just get the Forge atmospheric? tried, tested and approved. I really doubt you'll get any problems with it.

Blitz sounds better though doesnt it? Or maybe the dual forge..oh decisions decisions....anyway jus spent 250 quid on cam cover, plus carpets..ashtrays indicator stalks and relays...though methinks the ashtrays and stalks were frivolous spending as I wont have a clue how to fit! lol....

Anyway dump valves....will take a look at foge website again....cheers pinin

The blitz is ace \:\/ it's an absolute monster. But it's not cheap, unless you can find a non-copy second hand on the bay.

I know exactly where you are coming from !!!!! I want a decent-souding (not chavvy!) DV too but cannot make up my mind Want to fit it myself really but being a girl I don't want to be messing around with things that might not fit either !!! Was settled on the Baileys Venturi but have spotted a variety of others that might do a better job. Don't want to compromise performance but still want it to sound good - is it too much to ask \:\?

I dont know the model of it tbh but its an Atmos one that Matt sold me. Its pretty good to be honest but im worried its making a gorgeous car sound like a Rs Turbo
Soon as my HKS ones fitted ill post a vid up and you can make your minds up.

I'm going to do a little ditty.

They go.. Tisch, tisch, tisch,
and the Standard is pisch,
cos sometimes they do say Mooooooo!

It's a world full of choice,
lots of valves and the noise,
but you pick the one you like!

The HKS is a mouse,
The blitz knocks down a house,
The Greddy scared my teddy
yet the Forge did NOWT!

They go tisch, tisch, tisch (repeat to fade)

Well if it help in this incredibly difficult choice (god help you when you have a real life altering choice to make \:\) ) Bailey dump valves have a bit of a bad rep for braking on this forum.

Pmsl Matt!!!!! How drunk were you last night on a scale of one to ten? At the end of the first verse i thought it was just normal Matt behaviour but then after the chorus i decided it was at least 10.....
