Well, not sure if this should be a sticky or what.

Was trying to get some scuff master kit for my Recaro's, however when I spoke to Gliptone they said they only had one black on file for a normal Coupe and the Tan colour. I asked if anyone was near who could pop in etc but no one could help.

After speaking with King Pleb who was running a Gliptone GB he sent in a copy of some normal leather, So I sent in some off my LE Recaro's (well I did not want to cut any off so sent the whole ski hatch seat! )

The point is Gliptone now have 4 colours for the Coupe Black, Tan and LE Black and Red.

Hope this is useful to someone else who wants the scuff master kit

Well on Saturday it will be all sorted, Full repsray, alloys reconed, new centre caps, new badges and a new grille, new number plates and carpets and a good gliptone

Should be almost as new, well will be after it visits Rog for a final time to have its new rocker cover coil cover header tank etc put on.

Clad it came good in the end but bet it wasnt cheap to send or get back but all worth it in the end i you can keep your seats good

Did the Mrs Ka leather the other night(bit late for the lower edge of the drivers bolster ) but she said first time she sat in it that the seat actually felt loads better

remove the rear bench seat and cut a peice of leather off underneath. send it off to gliptone and they will do a match for you.

Didn't Carlt mention that their are various shades of tan so one wont match the others. I did get a toning kit with my leather colour so maybe you will have to match your own.

Well,

Gliptone have a colour reference for tan from the Coupe. I have not seen multiple tan together and I imagine Carlt is more in the know.

You can either remove part of your seats leater or just remove the ski hatch seat itself send it off takes less than a week from sending to receiving back all done.
Depends whether you think that the colour form another tan coupe will not be the same.

I did mine cause the black on the Recaro's is different from the black on the the normal ones.

Yep call them up, they win no prizes for customer service or politeness bu tthe stuff arrives promptly and works well!
