ok this is just a thought but, could a wide band lambda sensor be used to control the fueling of a car? i mean instaed of the chip taking the parameters of the sensors. the idea being that the wide band sensor could control the injectors? thoughts? G

Yes a lot of cars work like this and do closed loop monitoring throughout the rev range. Honda's have a wideband sesnor like this as standard. Its not going to work on a 20VT though unless you retro fit a brand new ECU. Also I have no idea whether its feasible on turbo cars due to the effect different boost levels has on fuelling.

oh right did not actually know it had being done before, wonder if a stand alone fuel system is possible but as you say the fact of it being a turbo may bring up some big issues. G

p.s. going of topic cosmograph but are you still doing the coil over kits ?

No longer Im afraid. best to contact Lars at www.gazzella.cc. He seems to be the most competitive for FK stuff.

wanted to see if it was possible to use WB sensor to make a stand alone fuel controler for my car, or possilbally to control a sixth injector if it detects the car running lean as a boost over the normal injectors.
