I finally found the time to give the coupe a proper clean and waxed it as well. I'm knackered now, but the coupe looks great again

This weekend I have been fitting a PIU bumper and also the LE side skirts, so I thought I would post up a piccy of the results!! Hope you like them.




And yes...before you all say it...I do need to sort out the rear valance...but I havn't worked out what I want to do with it yet as Im still waiting to find something I like!!

It doesn't look bad for 152k IMO.Does have a few parking dents and scuffs, plus the rear valance needs sorting. Its going in for a full respray this week. I'll post some pics when its finished. Thats as long as they don't make a hash of it!!

well, picked my 16vt up about 2 weeks ago, only thing ive got round to doing is the roof scoop and the dump valve hehe



quality of the pics aint too good cause i took them on my girlfriends phone at about 6am one morning.

not sure if i wanna spray it black, paint the brake calipers red and the yellow strip inside red...but hmmm not sure

OK Guys,

After owning the coop for 18 months now, I am finally getting to the stage when I am happy with it (happy being a huge understatement of course).

She's been lowered, bodykitted, touched up, and tuned.... the final piece of the jigsaw was when I finally got the Scorpion Cat-Back fitted last Wednesday. Only thing left to do is post up some pics and show the beast off

Here's mine just back from having a full respray with new wings fitted and rear valance colour coded plus i have had the rear lights de-seamed, the car de-badged and side skrts and 360 front bumper.



Just the tatty exhaust to sort, filler cap and the black bits now.

Just needs to be lowered(possibly 17s), led rear lights to complete the exterior

Hello all
I've been lurking here for months before making up my mind to buy one of these cars.I do a miniscule mileage every year(2-3K),so I bought a 1999 20vt with a genuine 42,870 miles on the clock.I live in NI,and went over to Scotland to get it.She belonged to a solicitor who had just died aged 72,and he bought it in 1999 as an ex demo from his local dealer.

This other garage bought this,an original Lotus Elan and a motorcycle from his estate.The service book has been lost,BUT I have a folder of receipts for the car for absolutely everything,all old mots and original bill of sale,and I've been told the Fiat dealer will stamp me up a dupe service book for the car.Belts all done,and the only mod is a stainless steel exhaust from the cat back.

Picked her up for £3900 inc 12 month warranty.....and direct line covered her fully comp and protected bonus for £401.I'm well pleased!!

haven't posted on here much yet so i figured i'd best introduce my self and my coop.

ok so I know it's no where near finished but here are some 'work in progress' shots after a bit of a tidy up.



Have new fog lights, badge and grill ordered and should hopefully be going into the paint shop some time in the near future. After that its mostly playing with suspension setup and getting a petrol tank fabricated to fit the spare wheel well. will update when things move on.

Jay 4x4 what a "Gansta" conversion --> I like it !! I have all ways said that the coupe should have been a 4x4 (makes life a little more fun in the rain and snow) - living in switzerland - when we get snow (we get it)

and some pics of my motor now it's been the majority of the work has been done. (alot u won't see (Internal gear)

but the cover has been "re-redded" many layers and lacquer (sweet)
