It may just be my imagination but didn't te LE and Plus come with different tre size to the normal Coupes?

I am just trying to find out which size is the standard while I shop around for tyres, did I make this all up in my head or was it just the Plus?

Nick - LEs and Pluses (and probably last-of-line 20VTs too) came with 225/45 ZR 16

standard 20VTs came with 205/50 ZR 16

If you want to be totally original, you need Pirelli P-Zero Assimetrico

Thanks,

After delving throgh some pictures mine currently has 205/50 's on it so will shop around for a change. The difference between the two won't affect the speedo will it? I want P Zero's but have read a few posts on here where people say they are not the best frown

Anyonehave any opinions on what the best tyres are for the Coupe. I like to get good boots the best possibly really without being silly.

I have also found there seems to be less choice in 225/45 compared to 205/50 also the price is cheaper which will no doubt explain why the 205's are on my car.

225/45/16 & 205/50/16 are interchangeable and won't affect the speedo, as they have a virtually identical rolling radius wink .

I have recently changed from 205/50 P Zeros to 225/45 Toyo T1Rs and think that they are a great improvement smile . They are also reasonably priced at £63.50 from Camskill at the moment.

From my understanding then the 225's will just look better? smile

Looking for some 225's found some P Zero Assimetrico's at £95 each on Blackcircles

Toyo T1R in 205/50/16 fully fitted for <£75 a corner at http://www.valuetyres.co.uk/quotation/online-step4.php?deliveredorfitted=fitted

Plus a load of others too including Avons and Eagle F1 at £82 smile

They were excellent for me a few weeks ago - have loads of fitting centres

£116? Not in a 205/50/16 confused Surely it's better to get the best tyre, not necessarily the original one? Check out basic FAQs (I think) for reviews

LE/20VT came with 205/50/16, 20VT[6] and Plus came with 225/45/16

Get some Eagle F1 or Proxy T1, the P-Zero are decent tyres but well overpriced.

Oh so I was looking at the wrong ones!

Don't the 225/45's look better as they are wider?

Thanks for the advice smile

You're in luck laugh ! As I take photos of just about everything on my car crazy , I happen to have one of 205/50 Pirellis next to 225/45 Toyo T1Rs . Also, I have a shot of the Toyos on the car . I would definitely say that the T1Rs were a significant improvement over the Pirellis, but if you want italian rubber, then keep it original wink .

Of course, what you really want are these evil laugh !

Falken 452's 205/50 are £52 i think from Camskill. Thats cheap, and they will last twice as long as the F1 Eagles and out grip them.

Or listen and ignore smile just decided I would like some form of Pirelli boot on as have had them in the past and liked them. No offence meant smile

Was looking for the Pirelli PZero Asimm but it only seems to be available in 225/45 Vickster, possibly not made in the 205 then?
