sounds alright if its in as good condtion like you say.
i bought mine (a red LE) last year for just under 5k - great bodywork, interior etc but was high mileage (which didnt bother me) - about 105k on it.
since then ive had cambelt done and a service, so 5.5 - 6k sounds about right for a good one with cambelt done recently

if the one youre looking at is anything like mine, you wont regret getting it for a second! \:D \:#

Excellent - cheers mate..LE in Red looks the business; I think this one may cost up to 7k but will get new cam belt, wishbones, full service and front discs/pads......can't see me getting much trouble from it.....

The clues in the name
Is it the cars 1st or 2nd cam belt change?

LE's were made in 1998 (some 1999 also I think). The cam belt should be replaced within 6 years even for low milers because they perish.

If it is the 1st cam belt change for the car then its 3 years overdue!!!

I'd never let the belt go anywhere near that. My 95k 1998 20VT was going to have it's third belt this year.
