Sounds and goes great, good work that man.

Mind, it's going to be hopeless at night. wink That's probably the only way to make the coupe lights worse!!

Weren't there rumours on the old site about someone converting a coupe using tipo 4x4 running gear? I wonder if that would be possible...

The tipo never came 4wd, the tempa did, but a rare beast to find one!

how much fun would that be kept looking standard? haha

fitted 20vt springs to the coupe integrale today to replace the lancia suspension. sitting on the road and handling much better. when we get abit closer to being finished i'll get some pics up. its still 2 different colours at the min, will be ink black all over in the near future!

That Tipo vid is Awesome!!!!

I take it judging from the conversion youve had quite a bit to do with coupes and fiats in general in the past?

I looked into this for ages, but quite alot of butchering had took place from what i had heard. The dedra running gear was used in the one i looked at.However a friend of a friend has a 4X4 coupe apparently so it will be interesting to see what he has done.integrale running gear from what i have heard.
I opted for the racelogic tc instead..be interesting to see the difference.1 equally matched 20vt with racelogic and the other with 4X4.
given the added weight and reduced power due to 4X4 i think the racelogic would have the edge. However the 4 wheel drive launch if done properly would be hard to match on the 1/4.

jay_4x4 did you buy the 20vt springs from someone in derby called stu. If so your the one thats done a 16vt 4x4 and now doing a 20vt. Its got me and my mate very interested in doing this as his coupe is off the road now for some massive changes.
