If like me the heater speed control dial Alu ring starts to fall off when you accelerate at full power

use the rubber solution glue that you get in a punture repair kit for a push-bike,

on the inside of the alu ring so it bonds and fits the control dial tighter,and turns with the control,
but can still be pulled off if you need to get the central console off!!!
I did this on the temp and direction control dials too!!

That's my sixpence worth

Thanks for the info but you must have some acceleration as mine are stuck solid.
