I was about to install my Widget yesterday. I was just going to check where to put the 9 pin serial cable under the Instrument panel when I remember that I hadn´t checked if my computer had a 9 pin serial port. So I went up to the flat and and looked at the back of my laptop. No 9 pin serial port tongue

So what to do? I thought that maybe there is a cable for my USB port? And there is!! A USB RS232 Serial DB9 9 pin. In one end a USB and in the other a male 9 pin. Lucky me smile For a guy that is a novice when it comes to computers I´m quite happy today.

Injector period, pressure (that's a 16v/vt only thing), air temp, water temp. Battery instead of injector when I have alternator concerns.

Hmmm, I 'usually' have AFM, charge temp and throttle position. I say usually as it does like to mix things up now and again to keep it interesting. wink laugh

I used have it set for ignition timing, to see how the advance changed between the two different Gtec chips. There's quite some difference, at least when you're cruising.
