Get yourself onto a Detailing forum of such and see what they use. They will certainly know what is best for new paint and keeping the deep gloss shine smile

Hi

Strongly recommended: use the Meguiars 3-step. Paint cleaner/polish/wax. Works a treat. Last time I was in Halfords they had a buy 2 get one free offer too. Between washes top it up with the Detailer in the same range. Perfect.

Agree with above post. Meguiars 3 step is hard work but the finish is amazing afterwards and last and lasts and lasts.

OK - just received my new polishing machine - which is described as a Sander / Polisher, and looks like the PorterCable polisher. here

It has six speeds, and looks the business. Takes 180mm pads, discs, etc. Anyway, it only arrived with a fleece polishing bonnet. I imagine I need to get some cotton bonnets. Can anyone advise me on what to get, please?

I'm gona try out the Meguiars 3-step. Sounds like good stuff.

First needs a buff up with some more T-Cut first to get all the minor scratches out smile
