Really? Thats a very cold plug for a car. EGV's are racing plugs which are definatly not a necessity and are very expensive. My 2 stroke race bike specified a B9EGV but it would still run fine on a standard plug. B9EV or even a B9ES

You could try the B7EGV, they are a little warmer.

I must admit the B8EGV's are a little on the cold side, but how fast they get sooted depends of your driving stlye really laugh

I think its an overkill, 7's are plently cold enough for that level.

B8EGV is the specified plug for the Chip

Would a B7EGV make much difference? I run 8's but had thought they were a bit cold just due to the look of them for normal road use - not track days etc. Is swapping going to make menough difference to justify the expense?

It runs a bit rough sometimes but never drops onto 3 cylinders

You dont need thoes race plugs, seriously. The chip should not dictate what plugs you need. How you drive it would be a better reason.

What are the standard Coupe plugs? BPR7ES is the plug listed for 8VT and 16VT Delta/Thema/Croma etc. Its also what Mitsu EVO's etc use. I use them in my race car without issue. I have tried other types without any noticable difference.

I very much recommend using the factory specific plugs unless you have a good reason to use something elce. Fiats generally specify very cold plugs from the factory, too cold most of the time.
