Wanting a wheel that fitted straight onto my car I decided to go for the Wolfrace Urban Racers. The wheels were ordered and and have been sat in my garage since Thursday.
They are:
17J ET: 35 PCD x 100 with Wobble Bolts
Just trying to fit them they are not going to clear the calipers. Should I have ordered ET 42????
I'm fuming at the moment - Can anyone advise?

You are going the wrong way if that makes sense. My wheels are ET 30 and I still needed a spacer. You will probably just need to fit the spacers, dont worry about these as long as you get hub centric ones. I ended up fitting the MOMO spacers that they make specially for the Coupe.

From my understanding the Wolfrace wheels were a atraight fit which if the reason i ordered them. I can only imagine that I should have ordered ET42 not ET35.
An offset of ET42 would stick out from the Hub more - is that correct?

the higher the et the further in the wheels sit in 42 sits in and 35 sits further out(wider) for example a nova needs et49 or as close as possible a et 40 will not fit on as they sit too wide

You'll have to keep us posted when they arrive as this would be good to know for future reference for others. Hope they fit for you! Dave

From memory its the 18" Urban racers that clear the calipers OK (chris2222 and Barbz run these) not sure if the 17"'s will fit.

Hmmmmm not looking good then. I cant see why a larger 18" wheel would fit and a 17" wouldn't.

i had the same problem with 17" Dare V5 wheels, i thought they were a straight fit but turned out that only the 18's were and not the 17

Azev A's have this problem - 18's dont fit but 17's do - something to do with the spoke catching the caliper. Hope you get it sorted Russ Are you coming to the red lion meet this weds?
