Not that kind of dumping . I`ve come to notice that when i`m overtaking cars i subconsciously time my gearchange dump for when i`m passing the other drivers door . Is this a common thing among turboed coop drivers ?

I done it to everyone, cyclists were my fav's and neds with their windows down.

if you noticed it's not subconscious - it's just damn good fun....

and yeah, i enjoy that aspect especially when overtaking something significantly more expensive than my £2.5k coop....

I only really do it to chavs if they have their window down, just to say I HAVE A TURBO SO I'M A BIG MAN.

I don't have a dump valve, however I do open the window and make a loud "BOOOOoooshhhh" noise with my mouth when overtaking. I also do this when walking faster than someone and passing them on the pavement

doing by the chav wagons is my fav, they roar up in their pipercross filter, oversized exhaust equipped toy cars and look at you with their burberry caps and shell suits with the beat going, one hand on gear knob the other hand at twelve o'clock on the wheel nodded their head like they have terretts and then you blip it and ttssshhhh and their faces drop, quality!!

I gotta admit I do it all the time, specially when you have some 'wanna av a go' chav next to you, but soft top cars are good too, I put the window down just to listen to it myself, its an ace feeling

Other way round, ladies will NOT think its cool/clever, so dont do it then.

They think there's something wrong with your car. My exhaust is plenty loud enough even pootling about - TBA I get a bit bored of people turning round and looking for what just set off a sensitive car alarm.

The worst habit is doing it to pedestrians on the side of the road - a la all Scoobies. There a few pubs beer gardens I know that back onto a road. Sad, but still legal so what the hell?
