Best of luck to you Barbz, you've always been more than helpful to me in the past, I remember how you managed to fit me in for a quick (and I mean quick ) phase sensor change at a moment's notice, and I'm in awe of what you have achieved in a short time. I hope that whoever takes over TI will keep maintain your high standards and good values. Next time I'm ovr in Abu Dhabi I'll have to find an excuse to come via Dubai, and look out for the odd rare Coupe out there!

It's a great shame for us that you are hanging up your overalls in the UK.

But I'm happy for you, your lovely wife and your smashing kids.

There's not much on my car that you haven't tuning, tweeked or fixed and your advice has always been honest and of the highest standard.

exchanged a gearbox, rad, timing variator, turbo actuator tweak, clutch check, crankshaft oil seal replacement, differential inspection ( all in 1 day !! )

I've never met or spoke to you but for the past 9 months that I've been on here, your name's been mentioned with great reverence and respect by everyone who's had dealings with you. Knowing how particular most of us on here are about who works on our coops makes that reverence and respect all the greater.

ive had no dealings with barbz at all as i'm quite close to motormech, but it's pretty obvious barbz has been something special to this marque of car.
having never met him it's hard to comment, but i've never seen or heard anything other than 100% positive comments. as such, it feels like the coupe community in general, and the "big bhp" boys in particular, are going to be much worse for his leaving. as such, i too feel sad and it feels like a backward step for fiat coupes in many ways.
i wish barbz and his family a happy and successful time in dubai, or wherever he finally ends up...
