Hello,

Just bought a DV006 to replace my failing Bosch part. Looking at the fitting guide it looks like there are two ways round of fitting it. Are there any advantages disadvantages of fitting it either way?

Looking at it I would have thought the bottom of the valve would go after the turbo, so when you close the throttle the excess boost pushes the piston up and dumps the air back before the turbo, but this isnt the way the Bosch part goes?!?!?

Anyone?! Am I being stupid here?!

Cheers

Ben

I think the original valve is fitted 'back to front.' Just go with whatever the guide says.

Yes there are. A list of them in fact.
If you choose not to orientate it the same way round as your bosch your car will end up trying to feed induction air into the inlet.

Quite how this would work and make the car behave i dont know and id suggest noone finds out.

Just ensure that it dumps to the induction end, not the inlet end.
