I saw a silver LE at TOTB the other week with the LED rear light conversion and ive seen them on the german ebay.

just wondered who it is as i'd like to find out a bit more info about them...

can anybody help?

Iam quick at some things lol. They are the ones i have.Brought them from a german web site cant reamber the address tho. Dont have any pics at the mo. They are easy to fit and mine came with english instructions.

very tempted, how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking?

My x girlfriend brought them for me around a year and a half ago. I think she paid £250 inc shipping for them. Fitting is not very hard. Took me around an hour to fit all four and wire them up.

www.coupeteile.de is where i got them. They were very good with there english though emails.

yeh i read that thread, but it went a bit off topic and not entirely convinced about the demon tweeks pick n mix kits, the german ones seem like a complete functioning unit

maybe would could try to do a group buy as so many people whant them??

the LE at TOTB was mine

but I never fitted the lights they were done by Joe (Doctorfrag) who I bought the car off. But I'm sure if you sent him a PM he would be happy to tell you how they are fitted.

Meh, i know its been discussed a million times but theres got to be a cheaper way!!

yeh that was mine should have given it a clean though, it got really mucky on the drive up to leeds / york!

took a few pics of yours in the car park too! the LEDs look really good, i assume youve had no problems with them? get through MOTs ok etc ?

the question with the MOT is another one for Doctorfrag I'm afraid, I've only had the car for less than a month! I can't see it being a problem though.

had a look at http://www.coupeteile.de/Leuchten.html , do you know the difference between the saver, standard and super sets?
tried to translate the page but it seems to me like the tail / break lights are different somehow?
and whats the difference between MT and OT ?
which set do you need to get all the original lights working?

The super sets have all the leds (on all 4 lamps) on for normal tail lights, they get brighter when you hit the brakes.

MT and OT has something to do with rules, a red or a white rear fog light. I'm too lazy to go and find out which is which.

my tail lights are on the top two lights, then the brake lights are on the bottom two.

You don't have the super set, then...

Look at the movie at coupeteile.de, it shows how the superset works.

I'm thinking about those myself. Only with the red reflector "things" in front of the leds instead of the standard silver. Don't think silver goes well with a yellow Coup.
