My turbo has been a shining example of a cracking car.
Purchased over 4 years ago at 67k, the only major things to go in that time are clutch and radiator.
the rest - set of disks/pads all round 4 new tyres (or is it 6????) battery, gear linkages, wheel bearing were all pretty standard for any car and not too pricy.
its at 105k now, and aside from me crashing it, mechanically the car still seems as strong as when i got it (and its still on the original turbo).
I HAVENT done anything special to look after it, serviced every 12 months (9k ish) and made sure the oil and water was always topped up but thats it.
I dont hammer it, but i like to know i am in a sports car if you see what i mean.......
Personally i dont know how reliable NA's are, but you couldnt ask for a more reliable car than my old yellow peril.
