Are the Brake lights on the coop split into two sections like the indicator/reverse lights?

If not has anyone tried splitting the clear cover away from the actual lamp assembly?

Im thinking of removing it and putting it on the bottom set of lights for a gloss red finish \:D

I just put in another reverse lens and fitted a red LED bulb to take the place of the rear-fog light.

Looks nice. Subtle changes make all the difference IMO.

You just need two exhaust pipes either side, to complete the symmetry. ;\)

Nah i`m not a big fan of the twin-tail pipes, even though it would complete the symmetry I just don`t think they look right IMHO.

Here`s a couple of pics I took today with the lights on. I replaced both my rear-fog and reverse lights with LED bulbs. I was hoping they would be brighter than the normal filament bulbs but i`ve found them to be slightly duller \:\( ,which is a shame as I really like the HID colour of my reverse light (now there`s an idea \:D ).

Lights off

Rear-fog light

Reverse light

Tried this with my rear lights, however the indicator was to red. Changed over the weekend to red amd amber on both sides with the amber facing down (had to redrill the fitting holes)I now have two fog lamps but no reversing light.

Yeah but it`s not as bright as an ordinary bulb. I see he now does the same bulbs in 36 LED`s size where as before the biggest I could get was only 24 LED`s.

I think i`ll give them a go (that`s if they`ll fit anyway) and if they`re an improvement i`ll get some to replace my brake+sidelights bulbs too .
