And she went through Slight issue with emissions though. Ithink the manifold has worked its way loose again or is cracked. Usual signs of this. With it being loose would this affect the lambda reading?

It doesn't take much air to leak into the exhaust to upset the emissions, especialy if the leak is before the oxygen sensor.

I can't believe an air leak before the lambda will cause any air to be sucked in, but blown out for sure, the lambda sensor is right after the turbo. One of my manifold studs broke off and an adjacent piece of gasket was missing, so it was blowing a lot, enough to fail the MOT, no mention of emissions but maybe they never measured it, and it was that long ago now I can't remember...

Hmm okay so a few mixed opinions one thing is for sure time to get it tightened/repaired again

was it too rich or too lean. if it was too lean it might be a plug or coilpack and so the engine is pumping air through without full combustion. Could also be the cat depending on how far out it was
