I have run with 30% E85 for a while now. I feel much more power in midrange. Talked to a guy that works with engines at work and he said that maybe you feel more power because your engine is running a little bit lean at midrange. Opps not so good tongue . Maybe I shound check the fuelling before I continue with the E85 testing?

If you run on 100% E85 you need to change to bigger injectors. You need at least 30% more fuel. Original 20VT injectors is 335 cc @ 3bar. Volvo has injectors called "green gigant", 435 @ 3 bar. Nearly 30% more. I´m not sure if they fit.

Does anyone know if FIAT has changed the valve seats and valve guides in the engines for the cars that are sold on the Brazilian market?

I never asked anybody what kind of mod do they make to put the car here... tomorrow i'll be going to my mechanical, and i'll ask...
I know it's a pain in the ass to make american muscle run well here... since u can't get 100% gas, they need to make many mods to make it run smoothly. I asked my mechanical this about 3 months ago, but I can't remember exactly what mods did he do to his car. I'll get something about this on the next couple of days...
Ah... I have the Fiat Repair Guide for the car in portuguese... if u have one of the European, we can compare, shouldn't be hard, right?

-one thing i know, when u're running on ethanol, explosion point is earlier (2 or 3 degrees lower) It's better to keep ur engine perfect, since it will be running colder and cleaner =)

So, high tuned cars here usually run on 100% ethanol, one friend has a 2.0 GM engine running on 430bhp ... Also, there are some forged Marea Turbo that run with Ethanol at 500+bhp, but i don't know very well what do they do, but converting to Ethanol is mandatory in all the cases I read...
