Not planning on selling just yet but was interested to know what my car might fetch.

'98 S REG 20VT LE - VINCI GREY
101K
FSH (dealer then specialist)

Just had a replacement engine last month @ 99k (replacement engine had done 54k, supplied by Carlt, fitted by Motormech. Had a new clutch, new radiator, new cambelt (obviously) fitted at same time. Paul also replaced the turbo as the one I had was on its way out. Replacement not a re-con though, just in better condition than the previous one. Air con re-gassed at same time.

Oil pressure - approx 1.8 bar when reeeal hot.

Few dings on bodywork, stone chips etc. Some scratches on sides (quite long on right side but not deep from the looks of it)

Wheels could do with a refurb.

Interior is good apart from a strange mark on one of the back seats that I am currently trying to remove!

Like I said, not selling at minute but am just interested as may need to later in the year.

Cheers

Tim

£4k. Why did it need a new engine?

Yep for one of these top of the range beauties with the *gorgeous* Recaro interior I would agree with Vic - minimum £4,000

Cheers for replies. Was thinking about £4-4.5k so sounds about right. bottom end was on its way out so I changed it before it went.

Thats good to hear Carl. If I do eventually decide to sell, theres the next problem - what to replace it with for around £5k!!!
