...but my Coop is running perfect just now love cool laugh .

Don`t know if it`s just down to the weather getting cooler now but it feels effortlessly powerful, handles the road great after uprating my wishbones and (to my eyes anyway) still looks stunning. At this moment I don`t feel the need to go chasing more power as its fast enough for me and I think the wee jaunt I went up to Loch Ness has gave me some more confidence in terms of reliability for long journeys. I just feel that my Coop has reached my idea of perfection smile .

Anybody else reached this point in ownership yet?

Hi,

My car is a totally standard 20VT and I'm more than happy with the performance. Since I had a new temp sensor last week, mine's been going better than ever. I spent nearly three hours on Thursday cleaning the bodywork, treating the leather and "meguiaring" the interior trim.
I've had the car nearly 2 years and it's still a love thing!

yes - after four years, my car is looking, driving, sounding and behaving pretty much as I want it

There's still a couple of niggly little issues (like squeaks and rattles), but they really are pretty insignificant.

Nice feeling, isn't it laugh

Mine was like that a few weeks ago.

And then my belt snapped.

And then I discovered my rear shock bushes had turned to jelly.

And then one of my HID's died along with my AFM, and I developed a nice clunking noise.

I'm sure there's more to add to the list. laugh

Well after a 1.5 years of a coop with a drivers side mirror that doesn't go up and down and 1.25 years of having the motor assembly to fix the problem rolleyes , I finally got round to doing it on Saturday.

20 minutes later I'd learned that the motor wasn't the problem, it was just a crimp end that had come out of the connector from the door. 25 minutes later it was fixed.

I can now look in the mirror without bending my head down. I know how you feel and it's all good. laugh

Up yours Photobucket.

The benefit of having had the car from new is that you *know* all its foibles and fancies. Of course, it takes a while, but after the first decade or so, you do start to learn your way around it. smile
