Location? Lack of leather? Colour? Who knows - have you enquired about it?

This is my first enquiry rolleyes

But I have emailed the seller asking for more detail on history, and other work carried out.

I would like leather, but am I right in thinking the leather interiors can be bought and installed?

Yep, CarlT quite often has them. They are fairly easy to fit as well.

Not that it's got anything to do with you, but Damien has read the same posts as you, and knows what I thought of that car.

He says he is willing for me to see his car despite this.

Why do you spend you time answering my public posts and not my PM's?

No, seems about right for that age, mileage, condition and with no leather...maybe he just needs a quickish sale.

I doubt there is a coupe on the planet that is perfect, both mechanically and cosmetically...you'll need to accept that money will pass through your hands to keep a coupe on the road at the standard you will probably expect...need to budget a minimum of £500 per year IMO. All of the big jobs, belts, clutch, manifold, turbo each cost that amount to sort smile With a budget of £3k, you'll find that some will need doing sooner or later wink

Hey, steady on Carl, I've got the money.

You all have to bare in mind that I hadn't even sat in a Coupe until last Saturday, so I had no idea what I was looking for. So I have been trying to get as much info about the various cars available, unfortunately I seem to have annoyed some of the more senior forum members in the process.

See my sig, for the full explanation! smile

If you were genuinely after one for starters you would know your budget, no one serious considers 50k le's at 6.5k and shiiters at 2k do they? You would know what you want to spend.

Your criteria is:
A coupe
Any colour
Any spec
Any model
Under 80k today
Upto 120k yesterday
Under 80k tomorrow.
Any Price, 2k-7k

It doesn't matter if it has not been done, as it may not need doing. As I mentioned, the more complicated replacements on a 20vt especially are costly...n/a are cheaper to maintain (no turbo, manifolds do not tend to go, wishbones seem to last longer, tyres are £60 fitted rathat than £80 odd and last longer). However, things like brakes, belts, clutches etc still need doing and cost more than on a Fiesta wink
