Where have people positioned there ID3 (photos would be great laugh )?

I'm keen to have it in view when I have both hands on the wheel so the driver side vent isn't any good to me. I'm not sure the ashtray will be much better. I was looking at the passenger side vent but that might be too far away to see. The centre vents look good, anyone done this? How about the base of the pillar where people have their boost gauges?

Cheers, Chris. smile

Mine's just to the right of the Pininfarina badge on the dash strip - I use stickyback magnetic strips on the Blitz so that I can easily pull it off the dash for cleaning

Matt - I used 3M sticky velcro pads (bought from office world) and it's been stuck there for over 2 years now. I can read boost easily and the wires are hidden out of the way nicely.

I hadn't thought about magnetic strips/velcro, thanks. smile

idea Another thing I was thinking has anyone broken the wires just after the screen and put a connecter box there so you can take the face out at night?

Anyone tried it in the vent? EDIT I meant air vent. shocked

That's one of the reasons i have mine on velcro. If i ever have to park up in salford, i'll whip the display out. I've got my control box sat on top of the airbag ECU so it's easy to reach.

Again if theft is a worry, I wouldn't put it in the drivers vent or on the dash strip there as it's easy to spot for passers by.
