Apologies if this is a repost but I was wandering through ebay (I can't surf at my age laugh ) and found this........ clicky!

That has to rank as the most expensive cam belt change in the history of coupés.............or maybe you know differently? laugh

Well considering the car was bought for 2.5k at auction, spending more than the value of the car for a belt change seems a bit extreme.........and then losing all the keys seems very unlucky, unless they only had one to start with confused

if you spent that on it, why would you not just get another ecu/key set?

zoomed into the picture of the bill, it looks like;

  • cylinder head, cylinder head gasket
  • cam belt kit
  • water pump
  • cam sensor
  • anti freeze

and something else costing £125 !

labour at £1600 is rediculous too shocked

looks dodgy to me rolleyes

Is the £125 a Radiator?

Christ, £1600 at £40/hour is 40hours. Could have built a new one in that time!
