http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v683/joelcoop/PerfectTouchDynoSheet.jpgvery happy with the results,PT did a great job & treated me very well, also a big thanks to rog (powerfiat) for all his help. Rob could have got more out of the car but i didn't want to push it too much (i wanted very safe power)a decat or tesco 99ron would have seen 300bhp. the car pulls very well i love it

Very nice Joel, that's a rather nice power curve too with a nice spread of torque. Must give a nice kick around 3.5k.

Looks good matey. I'll be looking for a turbo myself in the New Year so was interested to see how this would perform.

i think it's a good compromise between the superspool & the gtir's,which is just what i was after,it holds 1.1 bar at the redline

It is a nice result, however, I think you could probably get even more low dow, your on-boost torque seems to be coming in a little later than might be expected ... maybe the FMIC is causing this (or it might just be the way that Perfect Touch set up their rolling road)? It would be interesting to see what results this turbo would give with a Pace SMIC and Chargecooler.

i thought the torque came in a bit late but no complaints from driving it, it just seems to pull & pull it would be nice to have some on rd comparisons with other modded coops

i thought the rev limiter was 7000rpm? very nice results In the manual I have is says: When the engine speed exceeds 6800 rpm, the ECU reduces the fuel injector driving times so as not to exceed this value.
If the engine speed exceeds 7013 rpm, the ECU activates the "fuel cut-off" function, resuming driving of the injectors when speed falls below 6800 rpm. Maybe I have misunderstood it? Or maybe PT has done something to the rev limiter?? Joel look at my result for comparison Original turbo, FMIC, Gtec2 and other mods

Good results. What were the gains from the re-map i.e what did you have beforehand? Mark

freddan as you can see from my graph, it's still pulling well to the redline 7k rpm.
i never ran any boost on the ultraspool before mapping (too risky) so didn't have any power figures, i was running 152bhp on my old setup before the ultraspool, fmic & sip

Isn't the power and torque curve meant to cross as 5250rpm?

I've never noticed that cross over at 5250rpm before. It's like that on mine too at 5250. Mark

It does seem to hold the torque flat for an exceptionally long time, never seen it start to dip as late as 6000rpm! Are you coming to the Surrey RR day? It might make for a good comparison of the Ultraspool with a range of other turbos

See if the range of the graph is off, then it might be that the torque is built earlier than displayed by say 500rpm, which would be more what myself and barbz was expecting.

The car is still pulling at the redline at 7200rpm or whatever it is set at. Shame you don't have forged internals, as I bet it would still be pulling hard at 7500rpm.
Would work fantastically on a car with headwork and a ported manifold, I can imagine it would be better than OE spool then

i'm going to take it to the rr i used before with my old setup, they give you fueling & boost graphs as well (suprised pt doesn't) & see what that says, the temp on the day was quite high @ pt.
it would be interesting to see this turbo on a highly modded coupe, with 3" full exhaust & headwork
