I would reckon there would be a benefit,as the oe ones do wear out and get soft, therefor not doing the work as they should. If polyurethene bushes improve the wishbones, which we all know they do,they should help the droplinks too, ok no where near as obvious in the sense that you they are not `abused` as much, especially with higher power coupes, but if you are cornering faster too,I would guess the drop links will come under more strain.
The one that is fitted `into` the top of drop link does not wear too quickly...........but the ones that go above and below the wishbone.........wear out at an alarming rate.....and give a feeling of looseness in the suspension and can cause it to `clunk` about

I have them. I made some up myself on a lathe. but i bet if you look under the powerflex universal bushes you could find something that fits.

Well ??? did they make any noticeable differece Compared to new OE ones, no they don't but as said they don't wear as fast and resist to almost all substances like oil, salt, etc.

I found that when you secure the nut to the bottom of the drop link bush, all you do is push the metal insert upwards and therefore you are forcing the rubber downwards making the rubber come away from the metal insert when cornering.
All I did was put a large washer under the bush and then tightened up the nut, it did actually make a difference and appeared to improve things a bit, but this is just on OE bushes, not uprated ones.

Ok so seems it might be worth doing, would like to put a PO bush in the part of the drop link that fastens to the ARB aswell, was pondering the other day how to make a bush and thought I could use a wood lathe if I could some polyurethene, so where do I get polyurethne then? Edited to say , will have to look at the universal bushes that powerflex make to see if anything matches or even if they would do a group buy

Dink what shape of tool bit did you use, did you mount a blade? Gave up trying to turn PU for torsion reaction link on the engine, luckily the OD of the PU bar was similar so a bit of press fitting got me round that.
