Hi Anyone heard of or fitted one of these? Fleabay Any good? I was tempted by the full blueflame system but am concerned it will fail the MOT without the CAT. Is this right?

yep itll fail without the cat.
Simple answer is to get a drop out cat so you can put it back in at MOT time

Cybox make Peco exhausts. Haven't tried them on a coupe, but I got one made up and fitted by them for my 156 jtd and was very pleased with it. Good quality and reasonable value. Some mild steel backboxes cost similar money as their stainless cat-back system. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd252/tynhead/alfa/100_1300.jpghttp://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd252/tynhead/alfa/100_1301.jpgRe the cat: if you keep your original to pop back on for MOT, use stainless bolts on the decat to make swapping much easier - no rusty seized/snapping bolts then

I fitted one to my 20v NA about 2 wks ago. Sound is good except in cabin drowne at 2 1/2 - 3 K rev (when tipping along in traffic) is loud and get annoying. Fitting no issue. CK
