I know this car has been discussed before and has been up for sale for ages ....and now finally gone to the realms of ebay. Wonder why its so difficult to shift. Looks pretty decent example as well. Do people no longer like LE's? Come on..the interior is not that bad!

he used to be my neighbour when I was living in Balham.

I'm thinking about getting it but I can’t view it before the auction ends. If anyone’s near Tamworth (at least i think its tamworth from the area code) and can look at it I’d be happy.

I've emailed the guy he said it got a reconditioned engine at 70k miles, its also a k&n filter and a "+10% bhp chip" (gtec?). He's moving to spain soon so that may explain the price.

I really want a red LE but I don't want a lemon.

I also don't want someone else buying it and ruining it because they don't know what they've got.

I've seen this car at a classic car show - didn't bother looking too closely (as there were plenty of more interesting cars around)

it looked OK, but totally out of place amongst much older stuff

BTW - I pass within a few miles of it every day, but usually at either 7:30am or 6:00pm. However, on Friday afternoon, I'm going into work (Coventry) very late, so I could stop by and have a close inspection in the daylight (assuming the seller is available)

So what - I've only ever needed one key in four years of ownership, which has included having the engine out!

Just makes you wonder what else he knows/doesn't about the coupé I mean.

I dont think you can expect people to know everything about their car - even if they know a fair bit. There's plenty I dont know about 20VT's!

Hi this now my car i will post up some photos as it is the tidiest le i have looked at in the past 6 months and having looked at 5 and about 20 normal ones this says something. The gentleman only sold it as he is moving to spain, the recon engine was fitted by fiat due to the oil cooler going, and this was on the previous owner, it has full fiat history to 68000 and receipts from motormech after this, he also supplied the chip. it has all the keys but only one fob and runs like a dream. The only thing needing attention if you are fussy is a slightly flattened bolster on the drivers seat. Cheers
