After watching this on pistonheads:

http://www.pistonheads.tv/clip1130

I was mightily impressed by it. Even though its *only* a mondeo, still sounds loverly. I was wondering if anyone has done anything similar with a Coupe? I've seen welformed efforts on youtube, however I dont feel they capture it as well as the above vide (No offence there wellformed)

Do you reckon the sound of the turbo will just make it sound like a whistle?! Bearing in mind the microphone would be mounted on the suspension strut.

Only thing is, I dont appear to have access to a Videocamera witha DVIN which looks to be a problem!

I've been looking for these for when i'm doing my track days on my mille

found this to be one of the recommended ones to go with and you can have front/rear facing

Prices start from £199 for a kit to get you started

You do know that Fishy_Dave operates Fast Films dont you? Try out their website or send Dave a pm and he'll help you out.

I bought a kit off him ages ago. Only ever got round to using it once though.

Wow, didnt realise! Thanks all. I'll have a look, just need to find a cheap way of recording stuff.

I assume the output from these cams is just a composite connection, so in theory, I could get a TV IN card for my laptop and hey presto I have a recording solution!

Don't worry abotu my vids. I'm not up for spending loads of dosh for the cause and I've spent far more time using my camcorder on nights out, than in the Coop.

There's also Sport-cam that I very nearly bought. http://www.sport-cam.co.uk

Video was good, but I only did a 20 minute run or something like that. Sound was pants but that's because I hadn't put the mic in a decent location and then it fell down into the footwell after a few minutes. \:D
