The only 0 - 60 time that can be quoted for a modded coupe is Flea, as his was tested on Datron timing gear (same as what magazines use) everything else is just speculative / g-tech meter, which should be taken with a pinch of salt for the figures.
Your car is Usain Bolt with wellies

I did a 5.51 secs at York dragway when they had the timing gear in one day. was very impressed as i only had gtech filter exhaust and 1.25bar boost. i have the certificate somewhere i was very happy with that i can tell you

i'm not sure those gtec things are totally accurate, but don't think they are terribly far away. when i had a few runs with one the time seemed to stop at around 65mph on the speedo, so probably about 60mph.
the quarter mile feature is totally inaccurate though from my experience.

A lot depends on how brutal you are with your motor. Standard 16vt (well almost ) and several runs between 6.3 and 6.5, although to be honest I've not had too much trouble keeping up with most 20vt's Recent mods make the car feel much quicker but 0-60 runs have suffered due to lack of traction

I went out last night and timed 3 or 4 times. 1st run was 6.8, 2nd run was 6.5, 3rd run 6.4.....can't argue with that.

Well tbh not the most sophisticated method of timing but it worked. My mate has a stop clock he uses for sprint laps he does as he's a runner.
He sat in the passenger seat and as soon as id drop the clutch he'd click start and it it's a perfectly flat straight road.
Ok it could have been milliseconds different but it certainly does it in under 7!

Ok it could have been milliseconds different but it certainly does it in under 7! No disrespect mate, but without a doubt this is the most inaccurate way of timing it ever. The people over on the Hyundai Coupe forums were doing this and were coming up with times like 6.9, 7.2 etc and they have 170BHP max.

Notice all the 20vt owners getting up on there high horse about it.
The fact is I don't really have anything to prove I've encountered my mates 20vt 3 or 4 times now and can sit with it till we both let off....I'm happy with that and if the 20vt can acheive 0-60 in 6.5 as they say then I'm pretty sure my 16vt can too
Eldinho we stopped clocked at around 65 to account for speedo error

The fact is I don't really have anything to prove LOL at this. What have you got to prove? Seriously I couldnt be bothered if your car did 0 to 60 in 0.5s. I was merely stating the fact that using a stopwatch to time anything like that is totally inaccurate.

Remember speedos can be out a lot too and 20vTs do 0-60 in 6, not 6.5 and autocar has the 16vT down at 6.8 so 6.4 is entirely believable with a few breather mods and chip. For me the 28 second 0-1000m vs the 20vTs 25.9 really demonstrates the difference. A standard 16vT is about the same as a Civic Type-R in straight line so it ouldn't take much to get them equal. I think you'd need a fair few extra mods to keep up with a Gtec & breather mods 20vT though...
I've never had a blast with one. I don't think I've actually seen a 16vT on the road anyway, meets aside.
F****** b****** thing...

6.8 standard for 16vt sounds much more beleiveable as they do go round to the 60 mark rather swiftly and mine isn't standard and have pulled away from a Type R fairly easily too I dont expect to keep up with a well modified 20vt at all

Having both owned a 16vt and a 20vt to 60 not much in it depends on the grip factor that can be obtained by ur lsd. if both good then the 20vt will be 0.3s quicker but if you were side by side not alot would happen the real difference would be 60-100 as the 20vt has 25 morebhp + more torque. when the engine has to work harder and traction is less of a problem 4-5 car lenghts by 100 the 16vt would be at 94. face it the 20vt is faster as has more power no argument.

Stock for Stock I jonny but you never know what you're gonna come across on the road.
I could have tuned my 16vt to 280bhp or something and have a stock 20vt come along side me...bye or vice versa

We have two - and they're both horses with a capital HORSE. One got spooked while tied up at a gate once, so she wondered off with the gate still attached. Now that is horsepower!!

Ok, this is my last post, as we're going WAAY off topic. They're acceleration isn't all that special, but where they really shine is off-road, you can go pretty much flat out across very rough terrain without any problems, unless they put a foot in a rabbit hole - which never ends well. Couple that with an inbuilt hazard avoidance system, full voice control, leather upholstery (well.. a saddle) and the best ventilation system available, the horse has a lot going for it as a mode of transport.
