Just had a new set of these fitted to the front and very impressed. Not tried in the wet yet but certainly nice and grippy in the dry, and oh so quiet.

I never realised how noisy my old Pirelli P6000's were at speed until I got the Toyo's. Now there's almost no road noise and the car feels much more smooth and planted at speed.

Highly recommended!

P6000s are truly aids ridden - they're not sports tyres in the least. Toyos are good, as are Eagle F1s, they just seem to suit the coupe. Odd as when we fitted some to a mates scooby the turn in was rubbish, he went back to some continental contisports and it was like it was laser guided again.

I've been very happy with T1-Rs on mine.

<Repetitive Post Alert>

Where's the best price for them at the mo? I need Plus size (225-45ZR16)

Camskill limited coverage although London I am sure will be fine. Good price from Blackcircles, very happy with the TIRs. Bought car with 4 different tyres, 4 Avons made a huge difference now 14000 later changed to Toyos on the front and so far very impressed.

That sounds a good deal Cappo - I managed to get some for £65 fitted, balanced and with new valves for my Plus a few months ago.

They are an excellent tyre - easily as good as the Eagle F1's I had on before.

The Camskill ones say they're W rated but that's one of the maximum anyway isn't it - ok for the Coupe?

W rating is fine for the coupe according to this list of ratings and max. speeds.

ah thanks, I can't check what's on there now (it's at Carl's) but I thought I'd always put Z rated tyres on before. Will check with Carl then get them ordered.
