Hello

Just bought a Vinci Grey Coupé reg L3 TUR. Got to wait for the cheque to clear and the wait is killing me.

I've spent years wanting one and many hours lurking in the forums reading all the posts.

I've read all the horror stories and I’m sufficiently paranoid enough to be a proper coupé owner.

I hope to get it next week but it could be longer.
I’ll post some new pictures once I’ve got it.

Thinking of using a paint sealant on it (diamond bright) anyone done this before?

Anyway I looking forward to speaking with you lot (even if some of you are a bit mad) \:D

Thank you! I'll be the world’s proudest owner. I keep telling people at work and they just look bemused and say "a fiat what?"

Girlfriends safely tucked away at Uni so I see no problems for now \:\)

It's a big big improvment from the 1993 1.7 TDI astra i drive right now.

I've seen a few fiat coupés around Colchester I can finally wave at them without confusing the driver :D.

You won't be saying that when you get the coupé \:D

Hopefully it'll be a cracker though \:\)

I do feel a little safer with Power Fiat near by.

I'll keep a good eye on her \:\)

It must be nice to have a huge safety net in the form of Powerfiat close at hand \:\)

I wonder if they fancy expanding and opening a branch in Cumbria? \:D

Alas I fear you may be right.

Alternatively you could try scoping out housing prices in Laindon \:P

You will be paranoid wondering when they are going to finish your paintwork off with a nice sprint blue top coat \:D

Right cheques cleared. Insurance is arranged (£1200) not bad considering I'm 22 and no "no claims bonus" \:D

Going to Cambridge services to collect and then driving back to Colchester 11:00 so if you’re in the area keep an eye out for a coupe with Reg L3 TUR and a guy driving with a stupid grin.

Oh and a grumpy looking old man in a Skoda Octavia (my dad) who had to drive me up there in the first place \:D

Once I figure out how to get the bonnet open! Must double check what oil he used in it.

Maybe someone should make a mod so you can see your oil level in the car through a window in the dash \:P
