Anyone put wedding ribbon on the Coop? Where did you fix it to?

IIRC, Barnacle used his Coupe for a wedding some time ago

Grille in the centre, and through the sunroof outer edges. If you go to the top of the door it's pretty much a straight line and it just lays on the top of the bonnet.

No Sunroof frown so its going to have to be tops of the doors

When I used mine, I threaded it through the grille and tied the two ends to the wingmirrors, which worked ok smile

Be VERY aware that because of the Coupe's bonnet design, a long length of the ribbon will be in flat contact with the bodywork.

If you have to drive any real distance, even soft ribbon will mark the paint.

I once did a wedding in my 355 - drove about 30 miles with the ribbons on - it took several hours of T-Cutting to get the marks out left by the ribbon

Yep. I only went a couple of miles, and with the sunroof, the ribbon's off the bonnet except for the very front.

Can you get some of that nice strong magnetic flexible strip? That'll do the trick to the top of the roof. I've got some on my fridge smile

What about securing the ribbon to the Sun Visors?
This allows one to open the doors and brings the ribbon up high off the bonnet.

I've used this method on a number of other Fiat models for my Daughters' weddings without any problems.

Can't remember how I did it for a friend (my car).

I think I did bonnet to wing mirror on the front, using the grille to secure at the sharp end, and the boot to B-pillar for the back.

I will need to check my photos to confirm.
