Greetings from a newbie in the Thames Valley. Not sure how I missed it all these years but at a rather advanced age (60 plus a little bit )I have just realised how beautiful the Fiat Coupe is and I think I'll get one. Not interested in the performance or the agg of a turbo so the question is what's the best all round car, the 16v or the later 20v version? Not familiar at all with Fiat engines or their cars ( result of a lifetime of boring Swedish boxes on wheels ) so any advice welcome.
Thanks
Jeff
PS I apologise in advance for ruining the coup image ( old farts in sports cars ...)but if I leave it any longer I shall be discussing it with St Peter.

thanks for that . Will definately opt for the non turbo. Now to find an independant round here that can service it. There's a company called Auto Integrale in Aldermaston that says it specialises in Italian exotic stuff so will pay them a visit. Is there a workshop manual ( in English )available for the coupe?
Thanks again

Welcome There seem to be some decent 20vs on the Autotrader at the moment, but also a few that have been around for a loooong time. I'll be looking for another one after Xmas. 20v is probably the one to go for above the 16v if you have the budget. In 1999 they bought in the VIS (variable intake system) for the 20v engine. Also some very late T reg and V-reg onwards, there was a minor facelift on the n/a - better wheels, coloured coded skirts, different grille etc. which are probably more desirable. Read the buyers guide and check list on here, they cover most of the stuff you'll need. I had my old n/a serviced at AI, excellent garage.
