Just to clarify, if you head down the A500 and keep following signs for Chester, you pass Car Transplants on your right hand side.. ;\)

Spotted in North 10 Car Park at the NEC in Birmingham - a Porto with private plate P?PKJ \:\? (or similar) on the Saturday of the Classic Car Show/MPH 07 (don't think they were attending Cake International somehow!). \:D

Didn't see any other Coupes either on the way down, in the halls or car parks, or on the way home! \:o I wasn't in mine either due to financial "issues" i.e. my diesel was cheaper to run down there!

I didn't see any coops at the show either! Saw two on the M5 on the way there and a couple at carlt's but none at the NEC. Was in the old man's brera as mine needs a new heater matrix.

How funny was the cake show!? Was so close to being captain popular on the walk into the NEC from the car park, we were hurrying through all the dawdlers when a woman infront of me stopped abruptly to check her cake... took avoiding action and just clipped her none cake holding arm as i passed. Thought i was going to get a handbag in the face!

Good show though!

Saw one red 20VT in one of the car parks (2 or 3, can't remember) and a Sprint Blue at about 1:30pm on the A5 on the way.

I was parked on North 7 on sat 10th, you clearly didn't look hard enough \:D

Having said that, I didn't see any Coops parked up either. However, I did see 2 driving past the shuttle bus stop.. Porto blue, P.. JDK and a sprinty red, 'R' reg with LE skirts but I can't remember the rest of the reg no

Biggest shocker of the whole event though: the Fiat stand at the classic car show did NOT have a Coupe!?! \:o

Last edited by Lucifer; 12/11/2007 14:52. Reason: forgot about the LE skirts

Followed a 'maroon'(dont know the name) 20VT for a couple of junctions on the A38 heading from Derby towards Burton this morning, you left a couple of junctions before Burton, older chap though who didn't acknowledge me so I don't expect you'll see this!

that would have been Mrs W running the kids round as usual.
thanks for the kind comments as always Carl but it needs a good clean and little scratches seem to appear rather too frequently, but running nicely, just had some new tyres and booked in to Motormech for service and MOT in December.

Saw a yellow one, from a distance, parked near the Civic on friday- think it was 16 or 20v from the wheels. The smart Sprint Blue usually parked on Clarendon St seems to have disappeared.

This could be midlands OR north west, so I might put it in both..

Scotts Green 20vt, P... SJD parked on Alsager co-op car park. Waited around for a moment to see if I could have a natter with the owner, but the missus wanted to get off home so I wasn't there long \:D

Portofino BLue on the petrol station in Reedswood today. Female driver, I was going to wave and then thought maybe not as she may think I'm a weirdo!

Okay I now NEED to know who owns this car:

Burgundy red 20vt at Keele University, I've seen this car a few times at work, but right now it's parked outside the fire escape of my office!

Don't think it's owned by a student as I've seen it during summer weeks aswell.

Anyone.. ??

Last edited by Lucifer; 27/11/2007 20:23. Reason: Added the words 'owned by'. Clearly the car ain't a student.. DUH!! :)

London bus syndrome or what, another Coupe spotted at Keele University \:o

Sprinty blue P reg, I gave you a flash of the lights and you looked at me as tho I was a complete weirdo (no, honestly?!).. possibly misread the Coupe greeting \:\)

So now that's a sprint blue AND a burgundy red where I work.. anyone??

Yup \:\)

I thought for a while I was the only Coop owner here but spotted the maroon one a while back (only just thought to post about it here tho as it was parked right outside our fire escape yesterday) and now the sprint blue one today.

It would be nice to see a few more Coops around campus, but none of them would find anywhere to park so it's unlikely to happen \:D

I spotted a blue Coupe in my rear view mirror on the A34 near the Green Business Park going towards Birmingham, at about 1.30 this afternoon. I waved and the driver waved back.
