satisfying, isn't it laugh

IIRC, there is a VERY select band that's now over 200,000

Has anyone got a picture of that?

I suspect that loads more Coupes have passed that milestone but are now mysteriously 30k miles short of it.

200.000km shouldn't be that hard, but 200k miles is a challenge laugh

Here's mine at 100k km's and doing 100km/h at the same time as well laugh

I tried that...

It was easy at 100,000 and 110,000

Less easy at 120,000 and 130,000

It would have been silly at 140,000 and 150,000

It would have been dangerous at 160,000 and 170,000

I reckon it would be physically possible (but utterly loony) at 180,000

Not sure I could do it at 190,000, even if I wanted to (although the car IS geared for an indicated 200ish at the rev limter)

Quality laugh

Shame I lost the picture of me balancing 100 pound coins and stuffing 100 jaffa cakes in my mouth whilst doing 100 mph as the clock rolled over

Is that 200K on the original engine (without rebuilds etc.)?

not sure anyone's done it on an original engine

However, when you consider the state of tune of the really high milers, it shows how good the engine design is (and how good the maintenance regime is)

I reckon the closest will be Roy Howard - IIRC, he rebuilt at about 20k - 30k and is now very close to 200k. Pretty sure he was running in excess of 300bhp when he was last on here.
