I think we single handedly brought the traffic to a standstill in Basingstoke! That woman in the BMW was NOT happy lol.

Was a good day despite the shite weather in the morning, it was lovely in the afternoon though.

Driving down was a ightmare with the snow and spray, it was literally a case of aim between the red lights in front, and hope for the best. i didnt swap lanes for about a mile i didnt want to cross the slush!

good to put some names to faces, lunch at the pub was nice too, and cheers for the crisps! lol.

As said - I can't believe how sunny and warm it was on the way back - in stark contrast to the morning run. Dragged myself out to rinse down the car when I got back, as I think Steel Grey acts as a magnet for salt and general road grime!

Another big thanks to all that attended and put up with my constant questions (what’s that silver thing there, what discs/tyres/exhaust are you running)
Came away with loads of knowledge, just what a new owner needed. Would advise anyone who has limited experience to get along to one of these, even if the roads are fccuking dangerous and the council forgets to grit them!!!
I felt slightly virginal pulling away tonight after all the bigger boys had screamed off down the DC, mine was stone cold and want to keep the turbo from smoking…plus being the only coupe with a standard exhaust it was so quiet, Webbo’s had me checking my stereo!!!
Dent man idea was golden, thanks to all who organised. Looking forward to the next one already.

Don't worry Shifty, my exhaust is standard too! Watch out, that modding bug is very contagious!

Well with the help of Webbo (if he's interested ) we may have to see if we can do this a bit more often and maybe for once i can get to a full one!!!!

I was going to clean mine when i got back yesterday but i'd been driving since half 8. sat on my bed, had a few cans and was out cold shortly after.
