Hey,

Got the (clock and speaker) rings I bought from Hyperlink the other day... They were new from Armturenringe, however, they did not look as shiny as I had hoped for so I thought I'd give them a good polishing. Not much work, but with a magnificent result! Can really recommend it, see result below:

To be honest, I used a "super miracle" polishing household/auto/boat/jewellery/mother-in-law cleaner which I found in a town square market, called "Weisser Blitz - Fantastische Univeral Reinigungspoiler- und Plegestein" (no, don't ask me what it means). After that, I used a boat wax (the car wax was in the attic storage)...

I started with some house hold paper for applying and polishing but ended up changing to some old cotton fabric as it turned out to be more convinient. No machinery needed... I was spending a bit extra time, experimenting so I think it would take one hour if I'd do it again...

A metal polish like "Autosol Metal polish" will definately do the trick, and maybe a good car polish might work if you have that more readily available (would be a bit easier on the metal). Or maybe a polishing household cleaner like Jif.

Finish up with a car wax to get that final finish...
