Hello everyone, My name is Sam and i am studying Car Design at Coventry University.

Today i purchased 'Jlow' (Jamie's) Coupe.
I have been looking at alot recently and had my heart set on a Broom yellow one (same as my first car the Cinquecento Sporting years ago!)
As soon as i saw Jamie's though i loved it and snapped it up straight away.

My car history has been a little bit too french for my liking, following the Cinq Sporting with pretty much every Peugeot hot hatch of the 1990's (205 GTI, 106 GTI, 306 GTI6 x2) but nothing has compared to the Coupe in performance or looks- its a beauty.

Most of you will be aware of the spec already so i wont bore you- although i will include a few photos taken tonight at the Ricoh Arena.

I am glad i found this forum, it seems really friendly with a wealth of info (and an awesome buyer's guide) and i hope to meet some of you guys (and girls) at a future meet.

cheers, sam

All I can say is..what a fantastic looking car. Like every bit of it and those wheels compliment it so well! Also like the yellow badge somehow...and the LE grill ufftt \:\) ..very tasteful.

Sighh..everytime someone new comes on here with their newly acquired car, it brings me back to the day when i first collected mine..feels great isn't it?

Congratulations and Welcome on here mate \:\)

Thank Mod, at last someone who photographs cars from the proper angle -ground level! You are very very welcome to the forum and should volunteer immediately for service on the forthcoming coupe book - not least because your car is just a bit good looking \:D .

Welcome. \:\)

Car looks stunning, and the photo's are very nicely taken.

As you're studying car design, what a perfect car for you to have now. There's not many other cars out there designed and styled for style sake, like the Coupe.

Welcome, nice Coupe you have, its been well looked after \:\)

Are you from Bournemouth out of term? Might see you around there, I'm from Ferndown originally, parents are still there and I'm down Dean Court (NOT Fitness First \:D ) as many Saturdays as I can manage.

I would love to get involved in a Coupe book- although i have no idea what this entails!

Again thank you for the welcome- this Coupe community seems really well put together.

Circolo- i too cant think of a better car to own while i am studying Car design- the Coupe has beautiful lines

Simonj- I go back to Bournemouth mainly alternate weekends- i'll keep any eye out for you! (I work just round the corner from Dean Court)

Lose the F-I-A-T badge from the back, replace the front, stick some Plus wheels on it and you have a peach.......

Yes I did and it's so sexy it's untrue - although a lot's down to the quality of the photography. If my car looked that from every angle I would take it to bed and kick the missus out. \:#

In fact with a little trimming in photoshop like this i think it ought to feature high up in Mark's book (IMHO). Not the cover maybe, but a prominent spot.

I could imagine pssmoothing1 would quite nice with streaking lights from moving cars on the far right of the picture \:# ..or another car at a perspective distance..head on..will look like its watching...preying... \:P

All very cool, but IMHO for tail shots you need to have the whole lot illuminated. It looks very odd with some lights on and some not. Just a thought. Still think the first shot is the mutts nuts. I guess some might argue that needs lights as well, if only sides just to lift it a little.... but I'm not sure.

True and i am in love with the HID's, its like having mainbeam vision all the time.
Next week i might get some more photos done then- but with the lights on... anyone near Coventry should join me for a Coupe meet and then i can get to meet some of you.
