burning oil in the alfa
Hi
Installed a new head unit today, works perfect! Very pleased, seems good for £50, usb, sd blah blah...

But, hooked up my sub with integrated mono block amp and nothing, not a sausage. Not even a flicker from the power light at all.

Gonna have another look again tommorow when it's light, but until then does anybody have any ideas. My thoughts in order of likelyness are :

1. Crap earth, does this have to be to bare metal and can it be just any metal on the body?

2. Fuse, checked all but one already

3. Faulty amp...was working ok in the coop tho...

Any ideas greatfully received as every

Hussah! Fixed it

Evidently, the "Amplifier Turn on" cable does have to be connected! rolleyes laugh . At least the power supply was only 18 inches away.
