When I bought my last coupe it came with a "box of bits".

One of them was this forge dump valve :
dump1
Dump3
Dump2

I initially tried it on the car but it ran like a bag of spanners. I think it was because it's for a car with no MAF. (Istripped, greased and tested it for vacuum hold first)

I am going to advertise it Fleabay, please can someone identify the type/model so that I can advertise it correctly.

The Dimensions of the inlet/outlet are 24mm (internal)

Many Thanks

Oh err, hmm looks like the standard aftermarket re-circ one that you get for most cars (normally sell to VAG owners quite well).

Technically with that you should have no problems as such as far as MAFs are concerned, either way they sell for a resonable price.

Despite being of little help (too drunk) im sure someone will come along with an answer laugh

Looks identical to my DV006.

shouldnt cause any problems with MAF cars, that's only some atmospheric ones.

Yup, same as mine too, no problems with it since I used a good grease on it.

By your command.

Oh

That's odd ?

When I first replace the standard bosch valve with this the car would only start with half throtle, and would not tick over.

When I drove the car it missed and popped etc?

When I put the original back on it worked fine.

I then bought a DV026 and it worked just fine ?

Thats a bit puzzling then.

I guess i shuld just bin it then.
