235's might be a good idea. the wider the tyre the more the car wants to 'tramline'

i had 255 on the rear of my mr2 tubby, and i couldnt drive in the insde lane of the motorway, as it just wanted to follow the 'tracks' made by the passing of all the lorries!

also, when tyres are narrower than the wheels it looks love
stretched a la euro stylee! (kerbing is more likely though frown )

Last edited by owl10; 02/02/2008 22:44. Reason: turning style int stylee!

I would not have 225 on front I would go 245 all round as the car doesn't feel as balanced with different tyre sizes front and back.
I run 245/35R18 tyres on 8x18 ET35 alloys.
Porsche wheels (modern ones not fuchs or cookie cutters) are usually ET50 + unless they are for turbo bodied cars

You would be able to show a picture from your car with these wheels?

Love the alloys (not suprising!) but the bodykits a little too fussy for my tastes. Looks good though overall. Less is more with the coupe for me....it needs simple lines. Not even sure if the Zender kit is a little OTT (& Ive got one!).

245s won't tramline as long as the tyres are decent. Have run them on my coupe for donkeys.

30 profile will give you better height clearance as they are 1.2% smaller than std OE, whereas 35 profile are 2.8% larger than OE.
30 profile didn't even exist when I ordered mine laugh but it depends if you want the fat tyre or rubber band look really. I would still go 35 profile personally but depending on your choice of stud adapter it might give you more work to do on your arches.

I was wondering how you can tell the difference, i thought they all looked the same. So where can you get the 993 turbo alloys in 17", id rather just go 17" and not 18"

I found this website when browsing, the turbo alloys in silver 17" above the black turbo alloys with the silver rim, so does anyone know (JohnS) if they would fit, i.e the et, and with the hub spacers that change to porsche set up????

Would of helped if id put the website laugh doh
click on wheels and tyres, then click 17"

if i knew u cud get these porsche replicas i wouldnt have bought my azev c,s they dont look like the usual aftermarket crap u see everywhere, i think the best wheels ideally would be the std 20vts just in 17 or 18s
