Well, as you may or may not have seen I dinged my coupe.
Unfortunately bent bonnet so it’s a write off.

After three long weeks of bus travel it has finally been declared a total loss and they want any info, receipts etc sending to help them value the car.

I’ve got together about 70 odd pages including rolling road results and bits like that.

I’m wondering now though, do I want to sent it all in the first instance, I guess it would be quicker to send it all now, but im worried I will loose most of my ammo for potential future discussion.

What do you guys think, and anyone able to speak from experience?

Cheers

copy everything before you send via reg post, would also suggest sending all you have in one hit rather than drip feeding the info to them.

are you going to buy back?

i did on mine which only had bonnet and front bumper damage and made a few quid on it.

better yet, if you can find someone cheap to fix it up <carlt maybe??> and get it back on the road. I would have done but my claim was so long drawn out i had to get another car.

sure maybe a catC but if you plan on running into the ground who cares.

I may buy it back, dependant on price, i may fix or break, just not sure till the insurance give me some figures.

At the moment im tempted to take the money and run......

.....to something in moon grey!
