Any one know if you can get the Audi A5 style LED lights for the coupe?

Actually, if you come over to TT-forum.co.uk a few of the guys there run them. Look in the group buy section, think Rike might still be selling kits... obviously these are designed to work on TT's, but could be a good starting point to work from... just change where they would be wired to... although I think it may look a little mcdonalds car park chavvy, having led strips on a fiat coupe... but then I've got angel eyes on my TT...

Another member, WAS is a guru of anything that lights up and is responsible for the majority of led strips and angel eyes... he fabricates them himself. Top quality!

You need to speak to MarkoFu (not sure about the spelling) - his car has got A5/R8 style LEDs. I think they are in the foglight/sidelight cluster rather than the main headlights.

How come you cant paste the IMG code from photobucket to get the pic to show on the thread, rather than using links?

Anyway, I fitted these myself. A pain in the a*se to do on a TT, have to remove entire front end, bumper etc... got no night pics as my digital camera always shows them as bright blurs!? Need a better camera!

We talkin about the same LED's as on the R8??

This could actually be done by using the wiring from the original sidelight on the Coupe and threading it threw a dismantled coupe headlight, to an LED strip stuck in place at the front of the headlaight.

I have a pair of spare headlights i've got in half for spraying LE colour and this did cross my mind.

Who dares me to do this??

Similar to R8 yes, do a serch for LEDs on tt-forum. Some have had them put inside the headlight, just below the indicator strips (mk1 TT) and some have had strips of leds put on the lower bumper grills. The headlight leds took quite a bit of work I believe to make them look ... think its WAS again who fits these for most guys

hmmm, would be interesting to see how they look..... still not sure though, might look like too much of a add on and I like the standard side lights on the coupe....

I'm not a huge fan of the leds, but they can look good...

Very likely once the kids in the mcdonalds car parks work out how to fit them! hahaha. I think any aftermarket lighting (except replacing bulbs with leds to make them whiter and fresher) can be a dodgy area.

I have Angels on my TT but it does look awesome and gets a lot of people looking at them. Just last night driving home after work, getting towards dusk... perfect for angels/sidelights... every other guy in the slow moving opposite traffic was checking them out

I think led`s are already a no go area,one of those things on first seeing them you think hmmm quite nice,now i`ve seen quite a few A5`s and R8`s,I think, oh yuk !! looks like a tart wearing huge false eyelashes...............shame as both the R8 and A5 are lovely looking cars

Markus on here did this to his side lights, its looked gorgeous. Ill ask him if he's got some pictures. Unfortunately he smashed the car up 2 nights ago so no new pics can be taken!

Look nice on the white tt, dont think it'd go with a coupe though.
