Quite a few people on here have swapped engines when there own car's engine has failed.

When you do an engine swap do you have to advise DVLA, I thought that the engine number was included in the V5 and would show up if you did a HPI check.

Also does anyone know where the engine number is ?

You do have to advise the DVLA, there's a space on the V5C to do so. I got my documents back within 10 days.

Sorry, I can't help with the location on a 20vt though.
