Well, ive finally received a pay out figure from my insurance which I feel is a little on the low side.

They have asked me to send in a case arguing that mine is worth more. I have already sent about 90 odd pages of receipts and the service history.

So far I have about 10 ads from pistonheads and autotrader proving similar cars are worth the figure im after, which is up to £1000 more. I'll also include a covering letter pointing out the major things and my enthusiasm for the car. I will also include a few photos.

Im after any advice as to what else I could include, and possible content of the covering letter, im hopeless at things like that.

Sounds like your doing the right thing - when i rolled my 306 they only offered a low payout, so i sent some ads from Autotrader to them with like for like cars and they then offered me what i paid for the car - result!
