Sweetride, those are at the budget end of coilovers but if you get them with the 90 or 100Nmm springs then they are ok but expect a firm ride. The body on them will corrode within 6 months though so make sure you keep those threads well greased up or even buy a cover from Demon Tweeks.

Im aware they are cheap for coilovers but at the moment i cant afford to fork out a grand or so, while im currently restoring other areas in more desperate need of attention. Are 90/100Nmm springs a firmer set up?

The trouble with FK is the poor damping rate they chose for the coupe, if you buy that set of highsport dampers as shown you will be bouncing your way down most roads, a standard coupe will be much faster point to point than you.

The 100Nmm hide this problem by being so stiff that the damper no longer works properly and the spring does all the work, this gives you a really stiff ride and point to point a standard coupe will still probably be faster as you'll be backing off when your teeth start rattling out.

The Eibach/Bilstien setup is far superior to FK Highsports, honestly trust me, I've tried and tested all suspension options bar the KWs for the coupe, even some Avanti dampers from Italy that Nigel now runs and loves \:\)

Looking at that perspective i dont fancy a large dentist bill to go along with the all the coupes \:D \:D

Now now Jimbo, dont lie. \:P Saying that you're quite welcome to come and have a shot of my coupe if you so wish. ;\)

I was in a coupe today with the FK's and 90Nm springs and it seemed not too bad, certainly better than I thought it'd be.

Matty, I really recommend a set of coilover covers from Demon tweeks, they just velcro around the spring and bottom spring seat but they save it all from rusting and seizing up.

Well worth it.

Think the holes where the hub mounts to the damper body are different dimensions on the 16vt, better check though im not 100% sure.

Think ill be going for the 90nm i dont mind a hard ride but when you live in somerset,tractors/potholes/lanes speed bump central, oh and dont forget bumper tearing badgers,a hard ride just aint quite suitable \:D
